Personal Care

How our carers can help

Personal care refers to supporting an individual with personal hygiene and toileting, this also includes helping an individual with dressing and maintaining their personal appearance.

How can we help?

In the first instance, one of Saffron Support’s managers will come out to meet with you and go through an assessment. This assessment will then be written up as a care plan. Our care plans are written in a person-centered way to meet the individual’s needs and how they would like tasks completed.

A carer will be allocated to the individual and they will read the care plan before coming in to make sure they are following the wishes of the client. All the career’s are trained in supporting with personal care and all promote dignity and respect to the individual.

Even though the carer is trained to help support the clients needs, they will always give space to complete the tasks the client wishes to complete themselves and encourage independence.
